Kung Fu & Kick Boxing (Fitness)
It is the ethos of the club to charge as little as possible for the classes
to enable as many people as possible to take part in this Martial Arts Programme.

This Programme will help your child develop confidence, and
teach self discipline and respect for others.
Your child will learn self defence and increase their flexibility, power and speed.
They will enjoy a healthy activity that will earn rewards for their efforts.
Here are the issues i am keep in mind when i plan kung fu & Kick Boxing Fitness programmes:
Worried about the increased risk of bullying at school? mental and physical violence towards your child.
What about children and adults facing the rising risks of knife attacks, robberies, and assaults?
Worried about your child becoming overweight?
We know that regular exercise for your children is very important for their development, growth and well being.
What about the life-threatening diseases that children and parents can suffer because of excessive body weight?
At kung fu, we offer separate Children and Adults classes.
Both Class curriculums are tailored to the needs and requirements of the students

It is important for you to know that
as a professional teacher. I take the children’s classes seriously, that it is important that they listen to
their teacher and behave in a respectful manner during the class.

Children's classes at kung fu
include a well rounded and balanced mind and body fitness programme that
includes self defence techniques, special breathing and
meditation techniques to build inner strength and relaxation,
bare hands forms, weaponry such as the staff (long pole),
plus various strength and flexibility exercises.

Kung fu philosophy and life skills are discussed and reinforced throughout the year. Our aim in this is to develop
self-discipline, courage, tolerance and respect for themselves and for others.
In particular, our kung fu curriculum will develop your child's mental focusing ability, helping them to learn and
concentrate better at school.
All classes consist of warm up and cool down exercises plus various items that are rotated from class
to class to achieve results and to maintain interest and motivation.

Kick Boxing (Fitness) will help your child as it develops confidence and cardio-vascular fitness. It will also increase your
child's flexibility, power and speed. They will enjoy working out to music, using pads, getting fit and having fun!

My qualifications are :
Black Belt 2nd Degree
Diploma in Chinese Martial Arts
Children's protection Supported by LSCB, the Department of Health and the ISRM and areas include
First Aid Training

"Hello" My name is Thomas O’Neill and I have been doing Kung Fu with Master Jago Auteri now for over four years.
I started at very young age and to be honest was quite chubby and unfit! I
started after my Dad suggested it for a good fitness regime but I soon saw that it was much more than that.
I have learned discipline and manners under Jago’s teachings.
The training was hard and still is but instead of struggling with only 20 press-ups it’s more like struggling with 200!
Kung Fu is not just like a trip to the Gym at the leisure centre but learning to defend myself and exercising with great friends.
The atmosphere is always uplifting and the training is stress relieving.
With Great determination and the encouragement of not only Jago but my family I have achieved my Black belt in this martial art.
Even now I am still learning and thoroughly enjoying every lesson.
I believe that Kung Fu has really pushed me from a child into a young man .
